I had a long talk with Tim Whelan from Transglobal Underground a sunny day in Paris. After a few beers we agreed that TGU is actually more a phenomenon or a project than a band as such.
The new website design had to reflect this revelation to some degree.
For this purpose I found that this tile-style design does the trick. It's a mess, but still a manageable mess.
The idea is that you can find the thing you are looking for fast, but you can still spend hours goofing around.
They are on the move all the time, so Facebook and tweets has to take center stage.
The first website we did for them was a very vivid Flash® site. Unfortunately Apple killed Flash, and we had to come up with something new, in a ... Well; flash.
